Welcome to Dahl Class!

We are so excited to welcome our wonderful Year 1 and Year 2 children back to school for another year of curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning!

Our dedicated team of teachers — Mrs Ashton, Mrs Freeman and Mrs Lowthian — can’t wait to guide our young learners through an exciting year full of discovery, exploration and fun. Together, we will be building confidence, nurturing imagination and supporting every child as they develop a lifelong love of learning.

At the heart of our classrooms is a hands-on, practical approach. Children learn best when they can explore, experiment and experience things for themselves, so our continuous provision is designed to make learning active and engaging. Whether they’re investigating materials in Science, mapping out rivers in Geography, or stepping back in time to learn about the Great Fire of London, our pupils will have plenty of opportunities to learn through doing.

Throughout the year, children will learn through play, problem-solving and collaboration, with opportunities to explore their ideas both indoors and outdoors.

We can’t wait to see our children grow, wonder and shine as they make new discoveries and memories together this year!
